On behalf of our client, Matchbox Consulting is seeking a Maintenance Technician/Handyman to join their growing team in Vancouver, BC. Our client is a trusted provider of property maintenance services specializing in residential and commercial properties. Known for their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, they offer a wide range of maintenance and repair services to keep properties in top condition.
Responsibilities:
- Perform drywall repairs, including taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing.
- Install and repair cabinetry, including kitchen and bathroom cabinets, shelves, and custom woodwork.
- Apply paint, stains, and finishes to a variety of interior and exterior surfaces.
- Complete work orders in a timely manner, ensuring high-quality results.
- Communicate with clients to schedule work, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain inventory of tools and materials to ensure projects run smoothly.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience in property maintenance with a focus on drywall, painting, and cabinetry.
- Strong skills in drywall repair, finishing, and painting.
- Experience installing and repairing cabinetry and woodwork.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Must have own tools and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
