MatchBox Consulting Group is currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator on behalf of our client, a well-established real estate development and construction company based in Calgary.
This is an exciting opportunity for a marketing professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and wants to make a real impact on a growing brand. Our client builds communities, not just homes, and their marketing team plays a central role in bringing that vision to life. If you love variety, take pride in polished work, and get energized by being part of something bigger than a desk job, this one is worth a look.
The Marketing Coordinator supports the execution of marketing strategies across digital, social, and project-based channels. This role is hands-on and wide-ranging, from managing CRM data and writing compelling content to coordinating community events and supporting sales initiatives. You will work closely with internal teams across Sales, Design, and Construction, as well as external vendors, photographers, and creative partners.
This is a full-time, permanent, in-person position based in Calgary.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Execution and Content
- Assist in creating, presenting, and implementing project-based and corporate marketing plans.
- Write and proofread website copy, social posts, email blasts, ads, blogs, and other marketing materials.
- Coordinate social media channels, including maintaining content calendars, producing engaging copy, and analyzing performance metrics.
CRM and Digital Platforms
- Support the execution and maintenance of HubSpot CRM, including data quality, automations, analytics tracking, and sales team training.
- Assist with Google and Meta ad campaign management and platform reporting.
Events and Community
- Provide hands-on support for sales, marketing, and community events, including on-site coordination, materials prep, and post-event follow-up.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining presentation centres and show homes.
- Help organize corporate events such as client appreciation functions and internal gatherings.
- Participate in sponsorship activations and industry events, some of which may fall outside standard business hours or on weekends.
Operations and Administration
- Create and maintain marketing calendars with clearly assigned tasks and deadlines.
- Assist with marketing accounting duties, including POs, invoice management, budget monitoring, and credit card reconciliation.
- Support award submissions, vendor coordination, and other special projects as required.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of marketing experience in real estate, construction, or a related field.
- Diploma or degree in Marketing from a recognized institution.
- Proficiency in HubSpot CRM and Google/Meta ad platforms.
- Strong writing, proofreading, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of Western Canada's real estate markets.
Nice to Have
- Experience in new home sales or real estate development marketing.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, UTM tracking, and platform pixels.
- Experience coordinating with external agencies, photographers, or event vendors.
Who You Are
- You are organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
- You write clearly and take pride in polished communications.
- You are a natural collaborator who builds strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.
- You are comfortable using data to inform decisions and optimize performance.
- You thrive when things move fast, and you see community events and industry networking as part of the job you enjoy, not obligations to tolerate.
