MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Plumbing/Mechanical Supervisor to join our client, a well-established mechanical contractor with operations across British Columbia and Alberta, delivering high-quality plumbing, HVAC, fire protection, and specialty piping services. With a strong reputation for collaboration and workmanship, they partner closely with clients from project conception through completion on projects throughout Western Canada.

The team is open to both experienced Mechanical Supervisors and senior mechanical professionals who are ready to take the next step into a leadership position.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise mechanical construction activities on multi-residential projects.
• Coordinate site crews and trade partners to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and project teams to maintain schedules and project milestones.
• Monitor site progress and proactively resolve construction-related issues.
• Ensure quality standards and safety requirements are consistently met.
• Foster a collaborative and positive job site culture.

Qualifications

• Experience working on concrete high-rise and/or wood-frame multi-residential construction projects.
• Previous supervisory experience or several years of site leadership experience within mechanical construction.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to effectively coordinate crews and multiple project stakeholders.
• Mechanical construction experience in plumbing, HVAC, or related building systems is preferred.
• A proactive and team-oriented approach to project delivery.
