Pool Construction Foreman / Supervisor

MatchBox Consulting Group is working with a well-established mechanical contractor that specializes in commercial pool construction, mechanical systems, and large-scale piping installations across Western Canada.

We’re looking for an experienced Pool Construction Foreman / Supervisor to take ownership of field operations and lead crews through the installation of complex pool systems. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who knows pool construction, understands the mechanical side of the work, and enjoys being the person who keeps a project moving in the field.

The company is open to experienced Foremen and Supervisors, as well as strong Lead Hands or senior tradespeople who are ready to take the next step into a supervisory position.

Responsibilities

You’ll play a key role in bringing projects from installation through to completion, including:

• Leading and coordinating crews on active pool construction projects.
• Overseeing the installation of pool systems, filtration equipment, mechanical components, and large-diameter PVC piping.
• Organizing daily site activities and keeping crews productive and on schedule.
• Reading drawings and specifications and translating them into field execution.
• Coordinating with Project Managers, subcontractors, consultants, and other trades.
• Troubleshooting field issues and finding practical solutions to keep work moving.
• Maintaining high standards for safety, workmanship, and quality.
• Supporting testing, commissioning, and project closeout.

Requirements

You don’t necessarily need a traditional supervisory title. We’re interested in people who have strong technical knowledge and the ability to lead from the field.

• Experience in commercial or specialty pool construction.
• Strong knowledge of pool mechanical systems, equipment, and installation.
• Experience working with large-diameter PVC piping.
• Previous experience leading crews or coordinating field activities.
• The ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• A practical, hands-on approach to getting work completed safely and efficiently.
