MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Product Engineer to join our client in Richmond, BC.
Our client prioritizes efficient and compliant product development processes. They work closely with customer-facing teams to translate user feedback into precise product requirements. Collaborating with both internal and external experts, they continuously improve product design. Their team leads mechanical design tasks and manages Engineering Change Orders seamlessly. They develop and execute rigorous testing strategies while coordinating project timelines effectively. Providing extensive technical support across departments, they actively contribute to maintaining high-quality standards throughout our operations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead product development ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with teams to translate user feedback into product requirements.
- Work with experts to enhance product design.
- Execute mechanical design tasks and manage Engineering Change Orders.
- Develop testing strategies and coordinate project planning.
- Provide technical support across departments and participate in quality activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in life science or engineering
- Over 3 years of experience in product engineering for marketed products
- Proficient in ISO9001 and ISO 13485 standards
- Familiar with cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) environment
- Skilled in design documentation, risk management, verification, and validation processes
- Holds IEC 69691-1 ed. 3.1 certification
