Matchbox Consulting Group is seeking a Project Manager based in Vancouver, BC for our client, a well-renowned construction company specializing in residential, commercial, and industrial construction services. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from planning and budgeting to execution and completion, ensuring timelines, quality, and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Oversee the project lifecycle from design through to completion, ensuring all phases are executed effectively and efficiently.
• Prepare and monitor project budgets, ensuring all expenses align with project goals.
• Implement cost-saving strategies and keep projects on budget.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships throughout the project.
• Identify potential risks and challenges that could impact project timelines or quality, developing strategies to mitigate those risks.
• Maintain accurate and detailed project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and correspondence.
   

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in the construction industry, with a strong background in project management.
• Proven experience managing residential, commercial, or industrial construction projects.
• Proficiency in construction project management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, or Primavera P6).
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel for budgeting and reporting.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred
• LEED and/or OSHA certification is an asset
