MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Project Manager to join our client, a fast-growing engineering consultancy delivering complex infrastructure projects across the utilities sector. This is an opportunity to step into a Project Manager role supporting a high-performing PMO team and a strong internal leader, with exposure to transmission, substation, and distribution projects.

This role offers the chance to own multiple projects end-to-end while developing under an experienced Lead PM, with clear exposure to larger-scale utility programs and long-term career progression within a scaling organization. Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects concurrently from initiation through close-out
• Oversee schedules, budgets, progress tracking, and reporting
• Coordinate engineering design, project administration, and delivery execution
• Lead project meetings and ensure alignment across internal and external stakeholders
• Support proposal development, budgeting, and process optimization initiatives
• Direct and coordinate project teams to ensure delivery on time and within budget
• Manage project documentation, reporting, and close-out processes
• Provide guidance and task direction to Project Coordinators
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and consultants across all project phases

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Management experience
• Background in utilities, telecom, or infrastructure projects
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
• Highly organized with strong analytical capabilities
• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field
• Access to a vehicle

• PMP designation or equivalent is an asset
• Exposure to different project delivery methodologies
• Experience working in fast-paced, multi-project environments
