Job Summary: The High Rise Project Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of high-rise construction projects from initiation through completion. This includes coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery while adhering to quality standards, safety regulations, and budgetary constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Coordination:

    • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with project stakeholders.
    • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.
    • Conduct regular meetings to review project progress, identify issues, and implement solutions.
  2. Budget and Cost Management:

    • Monitor project expenditures and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
    • Review and approve project invoices, change orders, and contracts.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize project financial performance.
  3. Quality Assurance and Compliance:

    • Ensure that construction activities comply with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
    • Implement quality assurance processes to maintain construction quality and mitigate risks.
    • Conduct inspections and audits to identify and resolve quality issues.
  4. Risk Management:

    • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
    • Monitor project risks and implement contingency plans as needed.
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety on the construction site.
  5. Stakeholder Communication:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, investors, and regulatory authorities.
    • Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders, keeping them informed of project progress and issues.
    • Address stakeholder concerns and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in high-rise construction project management, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Certifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • LEED accreditation (optional but beneficial).
