MatchBox Consulting is seeking a Development Coordinator for our client, a leading residential developer builder in the Fraser Valley.
The Development Coordinator will be a passionate and focused individual, responsible for assisting the development team in sourcing residential projects and assisting in managing from due diligence through to the completion of the municipal entitlement process.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting in management and administration of development files with municipal governments to ensure approvals, zoning and permits are delivered per the project schedule
- Liaising with project stakeholders including consultants and internal departments to move the project forward, find value add opportunities and execute on project budget
- Reviewing and providing input on approving drawings and specifications
- Researching and collecting due diligence for potential development sites
- Assisting in sourcing, evaluating, and analyzing future land acquisitions
Requirements:
- Passion for shaping community, collaborating with teams and building relationships
- Extremely detail-oriented
- Ability to write, research and analyse data
- MS Office Skills – Excel, Word, & Powerpoint
- Post-secondary Degree
- Access to a vehicle for visiting project sites, consultant offices and municipalities
- 1 year minimum experience in real estate development industry
- An understanding of real estate concepts, the development process and land use policy
