Our energy client is looking for a Recruitment Consultant / Human Resource Generalist (Specialist) to partner with clients in business unit and/or corporate client groups. TCJP00022033

Initially 6-month contract with chances of extension. 3 days/week onsite in Calgary. 

Description:

In delivering recruitment consulting expertise to the business, the Recruiting Consultant works to partner with business leaders and their hiring teams, along with our human resources partners, to meet the talent acquisition needs of the business. This position is part of a geographically dispersed team who together provide support to clients across North America.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans utilizing social media, online tools, referrals, networks, and data mining
• Continually seek new sourcing options to build and maintain a network of qualified candidates through labor market research and continuous relationship management, aligning with corporate goals of an inclusive, diverse workforce
• Take a candidate-centric approach to recruitment related activities and interactions
• Exceed expectations by guiding candidates and hiring leaders through our selection process, maintaining contact throughout the recruitment process
• Build and maintain client relationships, understand the value of client service and consistently delivering quality to all stakeholders both internal and external
• Screen and interview job applicants, prepare and present a slate of candidates to hiring leaders within an appropriate and consistent timeline
• Identify trends based on applicant demographics and funnel metrics to recommend solutions for efficiency gains without compromising hiring quality or stakeholder experience
• Be committed to continuous improvement, suggesting process adjustments to create efficiencies and develop best practices
• Collaborate with HR partners to achieve Company and business unit goals

Qualifications:

• 4+ years' experiences in full-life cycle of recruitment 
• Knowledge and understanding of the full-life cycle of the recruiting process including recruiting and sourcing techniques
• Familiarity with behavioral interviewing, probing, and assessment methodologies
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, recruitment marketing software, and employee databases
• Knowledgeable of employer branding techniques
