MatchBox Consulting Group is currently searching for Scrum Master for a 12-Month contract role (high possibility of extension) for one of their BC Ministry clients. This is a 100% remote role and is open to any candidate across Canada who is open to working PST hours. The anticipated term of this opportunity is from an available start date of April 1st/2024 through to March 31st/2025.

Pay Rate: $90.00 to $110.00/hr

Must Haves
 

• The contractor must have PMP designation and be Certified Scrum Practitioner (CSP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a similar sized public sector organization
• Conduct all Scrum related activities, including sprint planning, daily scrum meetings, sprint retrospective, and product demos.
• Maintain relevant metrics that help the team see how they are doing, and leveraging metrics to continuously improve the team's efficiency and performance.
• Liaise between product management, developers, testers and business stakeholders to foster quality communication.
• Provide appropriate oversight on the team's progress to ensure delivery is on time.
• Ensure all scrum activities are tracked, and kept up-to-date, and reported on a daily basis; and reported on a daily basis.
• Leading, training and coaching team members.
• Agile Project Management Methodology; Agile Supporting software such as JIRA Greenhopper, RALLY, MINGLE, Zenhub;
   

Nice to Have
 

• Experience working in a scaled agile environment.
• Experience working coaching Junior Scrum Masters.
• Experience working with multiple teams/partners for a product.
• Experience defining metrics and processes to support organizational and program/portfolio processes (e.g., program increment planning)
