Responsibilities

• Stay updated on engineering technological developments.
• Manage client interactions, including meetings, reports, and correspondence.
• Establish effective communication with clients, developers, consultants, agencies, and the public.
• Lead design and construction administration from Schematic Design to Project Close-out.
• Direct project staff, assign and review work, and provide technical guidance.
• Establish and monitor project criteria, budgets, and delivery schedules, while motivating teams for performance excellence and contributing to company-wide initiatives for system and standard development.

Requirements

• Engineering or Professional Technologist designation preferred.
• 7+ years in mechanical HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection with a focus on design, project management, and client relations.
• Proficient in industry software such as Revit, AutoCAD, IESve, HAP, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical skills, effective communication, and report writing abilities.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to establish effective relationships with employees, clients, colleagues, and municipal agencies.
• Interest/experience in green engineering principles, LEED® certification, Certified Passive House Designer certification, and Net Zero design experience are advantageous.
