MatchBox Consulting Group is currently seeking a Senior Software Developer Analyst for a 6-month contract role with a client of ours located in Burnaby (Hybrid set-up-2 days per week on-site and 3 days remote).

Pay Rate: $60 to $65/hr

Key Responsibilities:
 

• Leads design, development and documentation of a complex and comprehensive product suite.
• Provides technical direction, participates in hiring and coaching developers.
• Develops an in-depth understanding of our applications and provides ideas to improve them.
• Participates in the creation and review of architectural designs.
• Develops and conducts unit, integration, performance and regression testing.
• Participates in all Scrum activities such as Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning, Sprint demos, Retrospectives, etc.
• Scopes and estimates work.
• Troubleshoots production issues
• Carries out other related tasks and projects as agreed upon by team.
• Relentlessly seeks out continuous improvement opportunities.

Education
 

• Degree or Diploma in Computing Science

Experience
 

• Minimum of 7 years’ code integration in an application development.
• C# ASP.NET, RDBMS (MS SQL Server)
• asp .net mvc framework 4.8 or asp .net core
• Auth0 integration experience building out login/registration/my account/profile etc
• Demonstrated ability in the development and analysis of technical specifications
• Demonstrated ability in design and architecture modeling including UML

Preferred Skills
 

• Experience with Agile approach to software development
• HTML5, W3C standards, CSS3, SASS, JavaScript, JQuery, EcmaScript 6, Fractal Build, Grunt, Gulp, AngularJS, ReactJS
• Sitecore Experience Platform
• Mobile first web design, Responsive web design
• Sitecore CMS development, Web API integration, REST and SOAP API development
• ASP.net MVC, Razor View, Visual Studio, C#, .NET framework
• SQL server, IIS
• Automated build, testing, and packaging systems
• AWS or equivalent cloud based technologies
