MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Site Superintendent with concrete structural experience to join our client, one of Vancouver’s most iconic developer-builders.

Our client has a deep pipeline of high-rise, concrete, mixed-use projects across Metro Vancouver. They are seeking skilled construction professionals with experience in these projects. With over 20,000 homes scheduled to be built in this decade, they are looking to bring on experienced long-term employees to do multiple projects over the coming years.

Our client has excellent relationships with trades, vendors, and consultants.  The assembled project team on your project will be the best in town, ready and committed to delivering the project.

Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site activities on complex concrete high-rise projects in Vancouver.
• Ensure a “safety-first” mentality is always maintained.
• Schedule, sequence, and direct trades and labour to ensure the timely delivery of the project.
• Problem-solving and value engineering
• Managed of the on-site team, including the assistant superintendents, foreman, CSOs, and site clerks.
• Work with the Senior Project Manager to deliver the project.
• Stay in constant contact with the municipality, architects, engineers.
• Drive the project forward with decisive decision making and high-level communication.

Requirements

• Experience leading the structural concrete scope on a concrete high-rise or mid-rise project in Metro Vancouver is a firm requirement.
