Matchbox Consulting Group is seeking a Senior Superintendent for our client, a leading construction firm specializing in wood frame construction projects. They are committed to delivering excellence, we are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Superintendent to join their team. This pivotal role involves overseeing and guiding wood frame construction projects from inception to completion.

Position Overview: As a Senior Superintendent specializing in wood frame construction, you will be a key leader responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight to ensure the successful execution of projects. This role demands a seasoned professional with extensive experience in wood frame construction, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and sustainability.

Responsibilities:

1. Wood Frame Expertise:

   • Bring specialized knowledge of wood frame construction processes, materials, and techniques to enhance project efficiency and quality.
   • Oversee the execution of wood frame construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

2. Site Leadership:

   • Provide overall leadership and guidance to on-site construction teams, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
   • Manage multiple wood frame construction projects concurrently, ensuring alignment with project goals and client expectations.

3. Safety and Quality Assurance:

   • Implement and enforce rigorous safety protocols specific to wood frame construction.
   • Conduct regular quality inspections to ensure craftsmanship meets or exceeds project specifications.

4. Schedule Coordination:

   • Develop and manage project schedules, collaborating with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
   • Ensure efficient coordination of activities to meet project milestones and deadlines.

5. Communication and Collaboration:

   • Facilitate effective communication among on-site personnel, project managers, architects, and other stakeholders.
   • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to address any design-related challenges during construction.

6. Problem Solving:

   • Proactively identify and address wood frame construction challenges, proposing and implementing effective solutions.
   • Document deviations from project plans and recommend adjustments as needed.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in wood frame construction management, with a proven track record as a Senior Superintendent or in a similar leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of wood frame construction processes, materials, and sustainability practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make decisions under pressure.
