MatchBox Consulting Group is looking for a Superintendent in Kamloops, BC. Our client, a distinguished construction firm known for its innovative and high-quality wood-frame buildings. Responsibilities

• Coordinate tasks based on priorities and project plans.
• Produce schedules and oversee crew attendance.
• Supervise and train workers, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Monitor resource allocation, machinery usage, and expenditure to stay within budget.
• Resolve issues promptly and report progress to stakeholders, assisting in budgeting, subcontracting, permit acquisition, and material approvals.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction management, specializing in multi-family wood frame builds.
• Proficient in scheduling, overseeing, and inspecting multi-family projects to ensure timely completion.
• Demonstrated ability in proactive decision-making, problem-solving, and implementing cost-saving measures, including effective management of change order costs.
• Ensures rigorous implementation of safety protocols tailored to multi-family wood frame builds, alongside comprehensive knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSH guidelines.
