Matchbox Consulting Group is currently searching for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join one of the top real estate development companies in BC. The successful candidate should be a detail-oriented, self starter with minimum 1 year of high-volume AP experience. This is a temp-to perm role and will be situated in their Burnaby head office.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, sort and code invoices and supporting documents
  • Match invoices to supporting documentation such as purchase orders and tickets
  • Enter invoices, distribute and track invoices for approval in Timberscan
  • Communicate with internal & external stakeholders to ensure strong relations are maintained
  • Maintain the integrity of the General Ledger
  • Follow all aspects of month-end close activities to meet deadlines
  • Assist with preparation of audit information and support
  • Aide in AP analysis
  • Assist in the formulation of metrics to maximize efficiency and cost savings
  • Handle special projects, responsibilities and other duties as assigned by Management

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in accounts payable.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Timberline accounting software (AP, Job Cost, IA module, TimberScan) an asset
  • Detail-oriented and be able to work under minimum supervision
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks, likely with competing priorities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to contribute effectively within a team environment
