Administrative Coordinator
Location: Vernon, BC
Duration: 6-Month Contract (Potential for Extension)
Work Arrangement: Onsite
MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking an Administrative Coordinator to support procurement activities and field operations for a leading infrastructure organization. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized and detail-oriented professional who enjoys supporting operational teams, coordinating administrative processes, and working in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will provide administrative and procurement support while working closely with construction and field crews to ensure day-to-day operations run efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to operational, construction, and field teams.
- Assist with procurement processes, purchase requests, and related documentation.
- Coordinate and maintain records, reports, and project documentation.
- Support scheduling, tracking, and communication between office and field personnel.
- Assist with data entry, document management, and general office administration.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors as required.
- Ensure information is organized, accurate, and maintained in accordance with company procedures.
- Support operational activities and contribute to efficient project execution.
Qualifications
- Previous administrative experience in a professional environment.
- Procurement or purchasing support experience.
- Experience supporting construction crews, field operations, or project teams.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP experience or knowledge.
- Experience working in a utility, infrastructure, construction, or industrial environment.
- Familiarity with supporting field-based operational teams.
