Finishing Superintendent

MatchBox Consulting is seeking a Finishing Superintendent for one of the fastest-growing developer-builders in Vancouver. Our client is looking for an individual with experience in multi-family wood frame construction.

Have you previously worked on different wood-frame projects such as: townhomes, 4-storey and possibly 6-storey? are you looking for a new challenge? well this could be the role for you!

Responsibilities:-

• Create and drive look-ahead schedules to organize and schedule sub-contractors to deliver based on project milestones

• Liaise with client site representatives to ensure they are kept up to date with the project requirements

• Organize trade contractors to work efficiently on site and meet schedule

• Ensure the quality of products, materials and workmanship are to the standards specified in the construction documents

• Manage, maintain and complete all punch list items throughout the course of construction with each individual sub-contractor

• Support the project team in receiving project close-out documentation from sub-contractors

• Post-Construction client support for warranty calls

Requirements:-

• Ideally, 5-10 years of experience in Site Superintending wood-frame projects

• Ideally, 5+ years of experience in the role of Site Superintendent with a General Contractor or Developer

• Experience using construction project management software (MS Project or similar)

• Strong communication skills

• Successful at maintaining and growing client and vendor relationships
