Matchbox Consulting Group is partnering with a well-established residential real estate developer operating across Alberta and British Columbia looking for a Graphic Designer and Content Coordinator to join their Calgary marketing team.

Our client builds master-planned communities across Western Canada and has a strong pipeline of active projects and upcoming launches. Their marketing team moves fast, works on real campaigns with real budgets, and is directly tied to sales activity and community events on the ground.

This is a contract maternity leave coverage role with genuine potential to extend. More importantly, it is a real step-up opportunity for a junior to intermediate designer who wants actual ownership of their work. You will not be one person on a large agency team waiting for work to trickle down. You will own the social media calendar, produce the design assets, coordinate with vendors, and be out at industry events and community launches representing the brand. For the right person, this is the kind of role that builds a resume fast.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Design and produce marketing materials across print and digital channels including signage, brochures, floor plans, presentations, and advertising assets.
• Own the social media content calendar and ensure consistent, on-brand posting across all platforms.
• Create visual, graphic, and short-form video content for social media, websites, email campaigns, and digital advertising.
• Monitor day-to-day social media activity including comments and direct messages, maintaining brand voice standards.
• Develop visual assets for presentation centres, show homes, and on-site marketing environments.
• Coordinate with external printers, fabricators, and signage vendors to deliver final artwork accurately and on time.
• Support campaign rollouts, community launches, sales releases, and realtor events.
• Maintain organized content libraries, design files, templates, and brand assets across projects.
• Attend and contribute to industry events, sponsorship activations, and internal sales and community events as part of the role.

WHO YOU ARE

• 2 to 4 years of professional graphic design experience, ideally in real estate, brand, or lifestyle-focused environments.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Hands-on experience managing social media content and ad platforms including Meta, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
• Solid understanding of layout, typography, visual hierarchy, and brand consistency.
• Organized and reliable with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once.
• Motion graphics or short-form video editing experience is a strong asset.
• Experience coordinating with printers, fabricators, or signage vendors is a plus.
• Genuinely enjoys being out at events and networking, this is part of the job and bonuses reflect it.
• Permanent resident status in Canada is required.
