MatchBox Consulting Group is looking for an Intermediate Interior Designer within the Toronto area! Our client, a global design, architecture, engineering, and planning firm with 1,700 individuals collaborating across 26 offices on three continents. Responsibilities:

• Ensures project or phase stays on schedule and within budget.
• Selects and specifies interior materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, artwork.
• Develops practical, aesthetic, and innovative design concepts aligned with client goals.
• Conducts programming efforts for space planning, layout, furnishings, lighting, and color coordination.
• Coordinates color and material palettes; incorporates sustainable design solutions.
• Renders conceptual ideas, prepares 2D/3D presentations, conducts client meetings, updates documents, communicates with stakeholders, adheres to standards, supports team members, fosters a green workplace, and prioritizes client service.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in interior design or equivalent required
• 5+ years' experience in interiors projects necessary
• Proficiency in Revit essential; SketchUp skills preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, take direction.
• Emphasis on cultural fit over technical skills; willingness to train to a higher degree in Revit
• Strong self-starter mindset required.
