MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking an Mechanical Service Estimator to join our client in Markham, ON.  

Our client is a Canadian multi-trade company with nearly 100 years of experience, and specializes in Electrical, Mechanical, and Engineering services. Their unique approach blends a start-up culture with large-scale operations, prioritizing client needs, budget adherence, and on-time project delivery. Additionally, they offer 24/7 technical support with an emergency response time under an hour. Their success lies in attracting top talent, maintaining a familial internal culture, and consistently delivering quality projects for nearly 100 years.

Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with clients to craft detailed scopes of work.
• Participate in site walk-throughs to gather data for estimates and quotes.
• Price projects and liaise with Plumbing Director/Manager to ensure alignment with company standards.
• Facilitate communication with subcontractors for competitive pricing.
• Submit pricing proposals for designated projects.
• Conduct follow-ups on submitted quotes as necessary, and fulfill additional assigned tasks as needed.

• 3+ years of experience in mechanical estimating.
• Comprehension of piping procedures.
• Proficient in conducting job pricing assessments.
• Exhibit robust communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
