Our client operates as an autonomous, global consulting firm, offering comprehensive consulting solutions to the worldwide mining and metals industry. At this company, you’ll have the chance to cultivate your consulting expertise. Their focus lies in domestic and international projects centered on mine water management. Within their Canadian Geoenvironmental division, numerous prospects await to collaborate on cross-disciplinary endeavors alongside geotechnical engineers, hydrogeologists, and geochemists, tackling diverse and complex projects.

Responsibilities:

• Crafting comprehensive water management plans, from initial concepts to detailed engineering
• Analyzing and interpreting operational data from water quality and treatment systems
• Creating water and load balance models tailored for mining projects globally
• Supporting field data collection initiatives
• Generating technical reports and presentations
• Contributing to the assessment, design, and execution of water treatment systems for mining waste

• Defining process design fundamentals and criteria
• Drafting process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
• Conducting process modeling and mass and energy balances
• Specifying equipment requirements
• Estimating operational and capital costs

• Assisting in the commissioning, optimization, and resolution of issues in water treatment systemsTop of Form

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in environmental, civil, or chemical engineering
• 3 to 10 years of relevant professional experience
• Professional registration or qualification eligibility
• Proficient written and verbal communication abilities
