MatchBox Consulting Group is currently seeking a talented Senior Electrical Estimator to join our electrical contracting client's team.

This role presents a unique opportunity to become part of a dynamic group of electrical specialists. With a history of steady growth and industry accolades, this position allows you to contribute your expertise to the tendering and bidding process for electrical construction and maintenance projects within the commercial sector, while fostering professional advancement as an electrical estimator.

Responsibilities:

• Identify potential business opportunities and qualify leads utilizing industry networks and systematic approaches to enhance the winning percentage.
• Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers, consultants, general contractors, and end users to ensure a continuous flow of opportunities.
• Estimate project costs, submit tenders, and diligently follow up.
• Procure materials and equipment with lead times in consideration.
• Collaborate with Ownership, Project Management, and field staff to facilitate clear communication among all involved parties, thereby achieving profitable outcomes.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Electrical Estimating.
• Electrical trade certificate or similar education.
• Prior experience with estimating software (Accubid is an asset).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient computer skills, including MS Office.
• Passion for estimating and cultivating new relationships while nurturing existing ones.
