MatchBox Consulting Group is recruiting for a Marketing Project Manager – Consumer Behavior to support customer-focused programs and business initiatives in a hybrid environment based in Vancouver.

This role will lead projects focused on customer engagement, energy efficiency, and demand response programs designed to address localized capacity needs. The successful candidate will manage projects end-to-end, working closely with internal teams and external partners to drive participation, engagement, and program success.

This position is well suited to a project manager with strong experience in business change, marketing initiatives, and stakeholder coordination who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments.


Responsibilities

  • Lead projects from planning through implementation and final evaluation
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, risk registers, and reporting tools
  • Define project scope, timelines, KPIs, and success metrics
  • Monitor project performance and implement risk mitigation and contingency plans
  • Develop and execute targeted recruitment and communication strategies to support program participation
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive engagement initiatives
  • Manage vendor relationships and support procurement-related activities
  • Develop and implement project processes, policies, and procedures
  • Analyze program data and provide insights to support performance tracking and decision-making
  • Address stakeholder and customer inquiries and resolve project-related issues
  • Support evaluation and continuous improvement of programs

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 5+ years of project management experience
  • Strong experience managing business change or customer-focused projects
  • Proven ability to develop and execute project plans, timelines, and KPIs
  • Experience managing risks and implementing contingency plans
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Experience developing and executing marketing and communication strategies
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Advanced communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment

Assets

  • Experience within utilities or energy sector environments
  • Knowledge of energy efficiency or demand response programs
  • PMP designation or equivalent
  • Experience with customer engagement or new program development
  • Familiarity with procurement processes and internal governance frameworks

Additional Information

  • Hybrid role based in Vancouver, with 1–2 days per week in office
  • This is a business and marketing-focused role (not IT or engineering project management)
