MatchBox Consulting Group is on the hunt for a Project Manager in Edmonton, AB. Our client is a leading general contractor with a rich history spanning several decades. Renowned for their expertise in delivering complex construction projects across various sectors, they are recognized for their commitment to quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project management for multimillion-dollar projects in diverse sectors like schools, hospitals, and prisons, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, budget, and schedule requirements.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, facilitate financial start-up meetings, and ensure compliance with project objectives and specifications.
• Execute quality management programs, manage subcontractor relationships, and monitor productivity against schedules during construction.
• Manage post-construction activities including deficiency resolution, warranty obligations, and project close-out procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years’ professional experience, with 5 years in project management within construction.
• Proven track record of managing commercial or institutional projects exceeding $50 million.
• Expertise in various project management software such as MS Project or Primavera P6, SAP, and Electronic Document Management Systems.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
