MatchBox Consulting Group is currently searching for a Senior Front End Developer (Ember) for our Vancouver based client. Candidates can work fully remote but must live in either BC, Alberta, or Ontario.

Salary Range: $130k to $150K
Scope of Duties

• Create features using modern JavaScript frameworks- Ember and React
• Keep up-to-date with best practices and tooling from the various communities
• Openly collaborate with your team to solve problems and learn from failures
• Mentor others and help lead estimation efforts on your team

Experience Required

• In-depth knowledge of modern JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
• 5+ Years of experience developing production web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks in Ember and React
• Demonstrated history of unit, integration, and feature testing as part of a SDLC
• Exposure to Docker, AWS, CI/CD and instrumentation tooling
• Experience working on teams in an agile-scrum environment
• Ability to clearly communicate, help lead technical decision making, mentor less experienced developers and estimate delivery effectively
