MatchBox Consulting Group is looking for a Senior Interior Designer in Calgary, AB. Responsibilities

• Lead and collaborate effectively with interior design staff, while mentoring junior to intermediate designers and technologists.
• Work within a collaborative design team throughout all project phases to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Demonstrate practical knowledge of design, trends, construction methodology, materials application, and manufacturer-supplier appropriateness.
• Assist in proposals, work planning, and staff scheduling to ensure timely completion within budget constraints.
• Direct and coordinate regular drawing progress reviews, ensuring documentation conforms to quality assurance standards.

Requirements

• 10+ years' experience in architectural or interior design, overseeing projects from concept to construction for diverse building types.
• Education from a recognized University program and registered (or pursuing registration) with relevant associations such as AAA, NCIDQ, DID.
• Expert understanding of building codes, interior components, and construction processes.
