MatchBox Consulting Group is currently looking for a Senior Marketing Specialist to join one of our clients, a developer-builder that specializes in the construction of multi-family residences and townhomes throughout Western Canada.

The Senior Marketing Specialist will be responsible for providing marketing support to the property management division within the company. This position offers a competitive compensation package and opportunities for growth in the real estate marketing field.

Responsibilities: 

• Contributing to marketing and leasing strategy, theme development, product positioning, and creative branding for new and stabilized purpose-built rental communities.
• Assisting in organizing and creating presentations and documents for the brand and positioning sessions, as well as other internal and external presentations as needed.
• Identifying distinctive marketing and leasing features for each project and creating comprehensive briefs for creative vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborating with the Company Marketing Lead to build integrated media campaigns, encompassing both traditional and online mediums.
• Setting up and managing new project vendor accounts and relationships.
• Utilizing database management, template creation, and e-blast distribution.
• Supporting the implementation of various events throughout the project lifecycle.
• Managing and maintaining marketing and leasing budgets.
• Establishing strong relationships with Marketing and Property Leasing Teams to ensure they are well-equipped for their roles.
• Supporting project photography tasks, including scouting, location selection, and supplier coordination.
• Providing valuable feedback for creative aspects related to print, online, and outdoor media.
• Collaborating with creative agencies and internal divisions to produce, edit, and proof various marketing and leasing collateral.
• Assisting in the build-out of presentation centers / display suites under Management’s guidance.
• Ensuring meeting agendas are prepared ahead of each meeting and capturing meeting minutes for circulation.
• Continuously learning the foundational aspects of marketing and leasing in both pre-leasing environments and marketing/leasing of new and stabilized rental communities.

Qualifications:  

• 3-5 years of experience in real estate-specific marketing and leasing support for purpose-built rental communities is our ideal candidate.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications is ideal.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to produce results independently in a positive team environment.
• Energetic and professional with a natural ability to develop relationships.
• Keen attention to detail, proficiency in proofreading and editing, and thriving in a fast-paced environment is a requirement.
• Excellent written, graphic, and verbal communication skills with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Relevant education (Certificate/Diploma/Degree) from a recognized institute and will consider experience in lieu of.
• Ability to take direct feedback and be assertive but not aggressive.
