Matchbox Consulting Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a high-quality, well-established design-build General Contractor. With over 50 years of industry experience, our client has successfully completed more than 2000 projects across various sectors, including commercial, institutional, education, government, and healthcare. This is a great opportunity for an experienced professional to manage diverse, high-profile projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in new project sales meetings with potential clients alongside the BD lead.
• Prepare, monitor, and update construction schedules and job costs.
• Maintain and update project files throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage owner and consultant-initiated change notices and change orders.
• Request pricing from subcontractors for change notices and process subcontractor change orders.
• Review, process, and approve shop drawings and subcontractor monthly progress draws.
• Coordinate and attend site subcontractor and Owner/Consultant meetings, ensuring minutes are taken and distributed to all parties.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of Project Management experience, working on diverse projects.
• University or college diploma in a relevant construction/engineering program.
• Integrated Project Delivery Contract experience is an asset.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Project, Scheduling, and Project Management software.
• Strong technical, business, financial, and legal acumen, including contract review and negotiation.
• Must hold and maintain a valid provincial driver’s license and be able to travel to construction sites as needed.
