MatchBox Consulting is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager. Our client is a prominent electrical contracting organization, who pride themselves on tradition and reputation.

Requirements:

• Electrical trade certificate, Electrical Engineering degree or Electrical Technologist diploma/certificate
• 4+ years’ experience in Electrical Project Management and Estimating
• Proven estimating and project management experience with large Commercial, Industrial and Institutional projects
• Intermediate level experience with estimating programs, specifically Accubid (Accubid Pro and Change Order) would be an asset

Responsibilities:

• Identify potential business opportunities
• Manage project financial performance
• Submit tenders and estimate any changes
• Maintain good relationship with suppliers
• Purchase materials and equipment
• Work with the Foreman and Superintendent as a team – review the project documents, discuss labour requirements, discuss successes and challenges
• Develop project schedules
• Manage the project and be present on project sites on a regular basis
• Completion of paperwork to ensure prompt payment
• Review reports and make adjustments where necessary
• Arrange for project manuals to be completed
• Ensure that all deficiencies are dealt with
• Ensure that as-built drawings are completed and sent to the owner
